We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Farm Shop Assistants to join our team and help create a welcoming shopping experience for every visitor.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with high-quality local produce, artisan products, and seasonal goods while being part of an exciting new venture from day one.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for all visitors.
• Assist customers with purchases, product information, and recommendations.
• Operate tills and process transactions accurately.
• Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays throughout the shop.
• Help receive deliveries and ensure products are correctly stored and rotated.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation.
• Support the deli counter and wider farm shop team during busy periods when required.
• Promote local products and help showcase the best of what the region has to offer.
About You

LIVESTOCK SPECIALIST - Full time/Flexible
Competitive Salary, dependant on Experience Level
About the Role:
This role would suit someone with a passion for animal health and husbandry, especially with experience in less common species like alpacas and emus. You’ll be the go-to expert for livestock welfare, feeding, and routine care.
Key Responsibilities:
● Monitor animal health and report issues early
● Create and manage feeding, worming, and vaccination schedules
● Assist with breeding plans, lambing, and birthing
● Handle a variety of animals calmly and confidently
● Maintain welfare records in line with UK farming standards
Essential Requirements:
● Proven livestock handling experience
● Confidence working with a wide range of species
● Strong understanding of animal health and welfare legislation
● Ideally a qualification in animal science or agriculture
GROUNDS & MAINTENENCE WORKER - Part time/Flexible
National Minimum wage or above based on Experience Level
About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
● Maintain fences, gates, and animal enclosures
● Carry out basic repairs on tools, equipment, and buildings
● Ensure safe, clear pathways around the farm
● Assist with moving equipment and occasional heavy lifting
Essential Requirements:
● Good level of physical fitness
● Practical maintenance and DIY skills
● Basic knowledge of farm machinery (desirable)
● Can work independently and spot issues before they become problems
